MUIRHEADMEDIA was founded by Johnathan Muirhead (PGCert, BA Hons, HND, HNC), who has over 20 years experience in theoretical and practical Media and Communication output. With many years based in Further Education, Johnathan has a vast skillset from an academic and training perspective as well as implementation of {social} media, communication and design.
Based in the Irvine Valley, Ayrshire, MUIRHEADMEDIA has a local clientele base and is also involved in UK wide tendering.
Clients include businesses, sole traders, public sector and third sector organisations.

Johnathan Muirhead
Johnathan Muirhead brings over two decades of expertise in communication, digital media, and creative strategy. His skills span communication training, desktop publishing, social media, video production, marketing, PR, and design — all applied with a focus on making media work with purpose.
Johnathan has designed and delivered specialist communication courses, commended by both HMIe and the Scottish Qualifications Authority, and has served as an internal and external academic moderator. This attention to detail, combined with the support of a professional team covering marketing, research, and design, ensures MuirheadMedia provides clients with the right direction, clear plans, and effective resources to strengthen their day-to-day media and communication strategies.
Beyond his professional work, Johnathan has a long-standing commitment to the community — from fundraising for Ayrshire Hospice to providing communication audits and grant advice for local charities, as well as serving as Secretary of a local regeneration group.
